The La Ruche project, designed by the firm Loci Anima, is an architectural initiative located in the 13th arrondissement of Paris. This project was submitted as part of the Réinventer Paris competition in 2015.
An organic and sustainable architecture
La Ruche is inspired by the structure of a beehive, offering a modular and flexible organization. This hybrid building combines housing, a retirement home, restaurants, and an urban farm, thus creating an integrated urban ecosystem. Its design aims to minimize the carbon footprint and free up ground space to promote urban life.
