In the heart of the Montparnasse district, Loci Anima has transformed the iconic Pathé Parnasse cinema, completely reimagining it to offer a renewed urban film-going experience. The project blends technological modernity, fluid circulation, and a warm atmosphere, turning the cinema into both a place for screenings and a space for everyday life.
The interior architecture has been fully reconfigured: traditional ticket counters have been replaced by wall-integrated self-service kiosks; circulation areas are brighter and more comfortable; and the materials—wood, fabric, raw concrete—create a cozy, elegant, and contemporary ambiance. Concessions are now self-serve, and waiting areas have become informal gathering spaces.
Each auditorium is equipped with the latest image and sound technology, with careful attention paid to accessibility, acoustics, and seating comfort. Pathé Parnasse is now a cinema of the future, while remaining a neighborhood anchor, welcoming everyday users with simplicity and quality.
With this reinvention, Loci Anima transforms a multiplex into a sensitive urban experience, true to the spirit of Montparnasse and open to a diverse public.
