“Mens sana in corpore sano.”
This could well be the motto of this project, which is focused on personal fulfillment.
A sound mind, first of all: thanks to a sustainable design, the project is built using wood — a bio-based, recyclable, and eco-friendly material — and is structured on a precise, flexible, and modular grid.
A sound body, then: through a thoughtful program centered on care and well-being, and through daily maintenance and prevention made possible by a peripheral pedestrian ramp, which promotes healthy movement every day.

The Health Center “L’Arbre de Vie” in Roncq, designed by the firm Loci Anima, is an innovative architectural project embodying a holistic vision of well-being and health.
Architecture in harmony with nature
The project draws inspiration from the Latin motto mens sana in corpore sano (a healthy mind in a healthy body), aiming to create an environment conducive to flourishing. Constructed in wood, a bio-based, recyclable, and ecological material, the building features an evolving and modular structure, allowing adaptation to future needs. This approach reflects Loci Anima’s philosophy of architecture as a living organism in symbiosis with its environment.
