Ribbon Hôtel

The Ribbon Hotel, desi­gned by the firm Loci Anima, is an ambi­tious archi­tec­tu­ral pro­ject loca­ted in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Although unbuilt, it embo­dies the agency’s inno­va­tive vision of sus­tai­nable and inte­gra­ted archi­tec­ture.

Architecture sha­ped like a sus­pen­ded rib­bon
The concept of the Ribbon Hotel is based on the image of a rib­bon floa­ting above the city. This light and airy struc­ture is enti­rely made from noble, recy­clable, and natu­ral mate­rials, high­ligh­ting Loci Anima’s com­mit­ment to envi­ron­men­tally res­pect­ful archi­tec­ture. The buil­ding unfolds in a conti­nuous sequence, offe­ring pano­ra­mic views of the city while mini­mi­zing its foot­print on the ground.

The Ribbon Hotel illus­trates Loci Anima’s abi­lity to design ico­nic buil­dings com­bi­ning aes­the­tics, func­tio­na­lity, and envi­ron­men­tal res­pect. This pro­ject reflects the agency’s ambi­tion to offer inno­va­tive and sus­tai­nable archi­tec­tu­ral solu­tions on an inter­na­tio­nal scale.
